Jamie Zuromski

My name is Jamie Zuromski, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Cal Poly University and my Masters degree (MFT and PCC) in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.

I've worked with teens and adults, one on one and in groups for the past seven years, specializing in issues of grief/loss, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and substance abuse/addiction.

I've also had the opportunity of working with couples, families, and children, helping them navigate the difficulties of divorce.

As a depth practitioner, I believe that you are already good enough, that suffering is natural, and that you already have everything you need to become whole. I also believe that therapy is a process begun by and guided by you.

As your therapist, my job is to help you notice your own gifts, challenges, traits, abilities, and beliefs. I shine a light on the places in you that are difficult to see. I'll reflect back to you things that are already yours-from unknown hardships to unremembered resources. I'm here to help you remember who you really are.

I've always been fascinated by myth, story, archetype, and legends. I've lived a life that has forced me to befriend my own dark places, and to walk with them in ways that are gifts, not burdens. I'd be honored to help you do the same.

When I first meet with you I would like you to feel as though you are meeting with an old friend. I hope to provide you with a warm, safe space, you can hopefully laugh and cry. An environment of non-judgement and unconditional positive regard. I would like to be the one place you can come lay your burdens at my feet, and leave feeling a little lighter, with HOPE.
