Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, and substance-use challenges. I earned my bachelor’s degree from State University of New York Geneseo and my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University.

My clinical background includes work in outpatient mental health settings where I have supported individuals from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, DBT, cognitive processing therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

I also proudly serve in the Connecticut Army National Guard, which has strengthened my understanding of resilience, stress management, and the unique experiences of military members and families. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and reach their goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused interventions, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I take a whole-person approach, recognizing the connection between emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and develop healthier coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin building trust and discussing what brings them to therapy. During the first session, I will gather information about your current concerns, background, strengths, and goals so we can better understand your needs. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the therapeutic process.
