Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience as a School Counselor and now a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a deep understanding of how life’s challenges evolve across different stages. I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood who are navigating anxiety, stress, and major life transitions.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain about your next step, or simply needing a space to process, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I believe life is a journey filled with unexpected detours, speed bumps, and roadblocks. My role is to help you navigate those moments with practical tools, thoughtful guidance, and steady support. Together, we will focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

You can expect a private, supportive, and judgment-free space where you are valued, respected, and heard. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside my clients, and I deeply appreciate the trust it takes to begin this process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood and supported, so I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship from the start.

Together, we will explore what is contributing to your anxiety, stress, or life transition challenges while also identifying practical tools you can begin using right away. I balance insight and reflection with real-world coping strategies, helping you gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater confidence.

Above all, I meet you where you are. Every person’s story is unique, and our work together will reflect your goals, your pace, and what feels most meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another in a relaxed and supportive environment. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard and respected.

We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and any concerns or questions you may have. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, background, and current challenges, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of our direction, initial goals, and what working together will look like moving forward.
