Great to meet you!

In my 40 years of counseling, I've worked with a diverse clientele; everything from couples and individuals, trauma and anxiety, grief and loss, anger and domestic violence, to coaching and pre-marital. I feel fairly confident that I am cognizant of most issues that clients bring and will do my best to assist you reach whatever your therapeutic goals are.

My approach to therapy

My style can be considered eclectic, but I use various approaches depending on the person and the issues. I believe that the client and the therapist can find a rhythm that helps in the collaborative process. If something is not being addressed and you need it, just tell me. This is YOUR time and your life.

What you can expect from me

You will know that you've been heard and that you are safe. You will be encouraged and challenged with warmth, compassion and humor, because that's my style. There will likely be laughter as well as tears. There will be homework sometimes to work on outside of the therapy session in order to expand what you're learning and implementing.
