Great to meet you!

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward — but you know you want things to feel better? You don’t have to navigate that alone.

My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as you work toward a more comfortable and fulfilling way of living.

My background spans both special education and counseling, which has shaped a practical, compassionate approach to therapy. I value collaboration and believe that meaningful change happens when we work together to identify what’s getting in the way and build on your existing strengths. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is solution-focused and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with elements of Reality Therapy when helpful. Together, we’ll explore patterns in thoughts and behaviors, identify achievable goals, and focus on practical strategies you can use in everyday life.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative — not just talking, but working toward real, measurable change. I tailor each session to your unique needs, helping you gain clarity, confidence, and tools that support long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a respectful, welcoming, and open environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Our first session is about getting to know you — what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change, and what support looks like for you.

We’ll begin identifying realistic goals and next steps right away, while keeping things at a pace that feels manageable. I also believe appropriate humor and warmth can go a long way in building connection, making the therapeutic process feel more human, supportive, and encouraging from the start.
