Great to meet you!

I help people facing difficulties in their lives to grow, understand, and thrive. I see the advancement of the rights of all individuals as personal and professional responsibility. My sessions are warm and comfortable as I aim to cultivate an accepting and safe environment to help you to feel empowered to navigate your life with confidence, peace, and freedom.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy to help alleviate anxiety, depression, PTSD, and maladaptive coping mechanisms. We will collaborate to nurture resilience, foster self-acceptance, and build meaningful connections in your life. You can expect to focus on practicing self-compassion and acceptance while navigating complex societal structures, empowering you to make meaningful contributions to your community, and lead a fuller and more grounded life.

I also utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, and incorporate this with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when possible. Through this lens we can work to identify troubling thoughts, behaviors, and patterns, and together to better understand your internal self and make meaningful progress towards your therapeutic goals. Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) can also be used to help you identify goals and take simple and practical steps to reach them.

What you can expect from me

During your first session we will focus on what brought you to therapy, your environment and relationships, and goals that you would like to accomplish.
