Great to meet you!

A person goes to the doctor with a sore throat. The doc says, 'Wow I bet that hurts!' and the person says, 'Yes, it sure does.' The doc then states, 'Hey, lets meet every week to talk about how much this hurts'.

Would the person come back? Probably not.

That's because what the person was looking for was relief.

Jana gets that. She also down to earth, has a sense of humor, and above all prizes humanistic approaches.

Ready for something different? Let Jana's decades of experience work for you.

My approach to therapy

Jana likes humanistic trauma therapies that do not cause reliving. Jana thinks that reliving trauma is painful and that is why people avoid it. She doesn't like pain, either.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect different perspectives, ways to reduce (or sometimes clear) painful past experiences, having connected and feel validated, or gained more knowledge regarding how to move forward.
