Anxiety and Depression

Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of diverse experience, I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) with a holistic approach, integrating mindfulness techniques and emphasizing individual strengths. I strongly advocate for each client's autonomy, aiming to offer tailored support and guidance to navigate obstacles and foster personal growth and healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Recognizing the significance of the therapeutic alliance, I prioritize building a warm and trusting relationship to facilitate collaborative and productive sessions. Grounded in evidence based research and practice my goal is to empower individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, grief, insecure attachment patterns and relationship challenges to improve their lives.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a safe, non judgmental space for you to unpack your struggles. By using thoughtful questions, I aim to guide you in finding greater insight and more awareness into thoughts and patterns. The modality I most align with is mindfulness based CBT which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns that lead to depression and anxiety.
