Janathan Grace

Most of my career was spent caring for disadvantaged people in various capacities, and later in life I realized the crucial need for inner healing as the basis for flourishing in all aspects of life. I returned to get my Masters in counseling and began my private practice at the start of this decade. I find most resonance with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and difficulty in personal relationships.

In counseling I offer full acceptance, listen with deep empathy, and work with you to find resolution, helping you break free of actions and thoughts that limit and harm you into ways that help you and your relationships flourish. We will also look deeper into how your early life experience harmed and limited you from your true heart and vibrant relationships. I bring expertise and fresh eyes to our meeting, but you the client are the expert on yourself, so we work as a team together.

I believe healing comes on the one hand through recognizing and becoming free of those habits of action and thought that limit and harm you, and on the other hand finding and fostering your true and unique beauty. This honest self-reflection requires courage and commitment with compassion. This effort often leads to intensified emotions in our times together, and this is welcomed and valued. We all need help working through life’s issues, and therapy is a safe place to make this happen.
