Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that I’m honest, compassionate, and practical. My style is straightforward. You’ll get clear, direct feedback, delivered in a supportive way that helps you feel understood and empowered rather than judged.

I’ve spent over 30 years working with children, teens, and families through some of life’s most challenging situations.

As a parent of children with special needs, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I understand how complex and overwhelming trauma, parenting stress, and neurodiverse needs can be, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as you navigate them.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and Mindfulness techniques to support healing from trauma.

More important than any specific method, my focus is on listening closely, tailoring care to your unique needs, and helping you build tools that are realistic and useful in everyday life. Therapy should feel relevant, supportive, and grounded in what actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect honesty, compassion, and practical support from the very first session. My approach is direct but supportive. I’ll meet you where you are, help you sort through what feels overwhelming, and work with you to identify clear, manageable steps forward.

Many clients leave sessions with a better understanding of themselves, new strategies for managing stress, and renewed hope that change is possible. Whether we’re working on trauma, parenting and family challenges, or shifting unhelpful thought patterns, my goal is for you to feel more grounded, capable, and confident moving forward.
