Great to meet you!

Some of the hardest things in life don't come with a clear path forward. Whether you're sitting with grief, navigating a serious health challenge, or quietly carrying the weight of caregiving while holding everyone else together, it can be hard to find a space where you feel safe enough to set it all down. I work with adults and older adults through some of life's most uncertain and challenging seasons, including loss, health concerns, major life transitions, and the stress that tends to come with each of them. Clients often tell me they felt comfortable being honest from the very first conversation, which is exactly what I hope for.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built around you. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work through what's hard and figure out what comes next. Together we explore what's weighing on you, what's gotten in the way, and what might help you move forward with more steadiness and clarity. I'm especially attuned to the emotional weight of grief and the stress that comes with health challenges, two areas where people often feel pressure to recover faster than they're actually ready to. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare settings, I've learned that real change takes time, honesty, and a relationship where you genuinely feel safe.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an intake. We'll talk about what's brought you here, what you've been carrying, and what you're hoping to find on the other side. You don't need to arrive with answers or a plan. We can start exactly where you are and build from there together. If any of this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd be glad to hear from you.
