Jane Schantz

I have been a family nurse practitioner since 2008 and board certified in psychiatry since 2024. As a provider I have always had a focus on mental health, as it is key to whole health! I have a background in palliative care and have extensive experience working with adult and geriatric patients. I am cisgender and straight but I welcome working with the LGBTQ+ community. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and/or PTSD.

Please note that I do not treat ADHD with stimulant medications.

As a telehealth-only provider, I am unable to accept all clients. We will meet for an initial consult to see if we are a good fit, prior to committing to working with each other. I look forward to meeting you!

I have a collaborative approach to medication management. I have expertise in diagnosis and medications, you are the expert on you. So we will work together to find the best medications for your situation, based on your diagnoses, your symptoms and your preferences. It may take some time but we will work together to get you where you want to be in your mental health.

I have a compassionate approach and prioritize listening well, so that you will leave feeling seen and heard. I have a direct and honest communication style, while also being warm, caring, and emotionally supportive.
