Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Janecia Jackson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in both psychiatric and family nursing. I have experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health care. I believe in providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care. My goal is to help each individual feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique needs. I take time to understand your concerns, experiences, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. I focus on evidence-based psychiatric care, medication management, patient education, and building a supportive environment where you feel comfortable discussing your mental health. I believe that effective care starts with listening, understanding, and working together.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgment-free environment where you have the opportunity to share your concerns and what brings you to care. We will discuss your mental health history, current symptoms, treatment goals, and any questions you may have. Together, we will explore appropriate treatment options and develop a plan that supports your individual needs. My priority is to ensure you feel comfortable, respected, and involved in your care.
