Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing since 2009, with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, client‐centered care. My approach is grounded in empathy, strong listening skills, and the ability to understand challenges from multiple perspectives. I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s most difficult moments.

I specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety, drawing from evidence‐based modalities including CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, Polyvagal‐informed strategies, Neurofeedback, and Emotion‐Focused Therapy. Whether we are working through long‐standing patterns or addressing current stressors, I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.

My experience spans both state and commercial settings, giving me a broad understanding of diverse client backgrounds and clinical presentations. Above all, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing, insight, and meaningful change can take root.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence‐based practice. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely heard and supported, so I work to create a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I listen deeply, reflect thoughtfully, and help you explore your experiences from multiple angles so we can uncover patterns, strengths, and new possibilities together.

I integrate a range of modalities — including CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, Polyvagal‐informed approaches, Neurofeedback, and Emotion‐Focused Therapy — and tailor them to your unique needs. This means our work may include developing practical coping skills, processing difficult emotions, exploring the mind‐body connection, or reframing unhelpful thought patterns. I balance insight‐oriented work with concrete strategies so you leave sessions feeling both understood and equipped.

Clients often describe my style as steady, empathetic, and solution‐focused. I aim to help you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered enough to move toward the life you want. Whether we’re addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, or the stressors of everyday life, my goal is to walk alongside you with clarity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of safety, trust, and understanding. I approach this meeting with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly where to start — we’ll navigate it together.

During our time, I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work. I listen closely and ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, your strengths, and the challenges you’re facing. This helps me see the full picture from multiple perspectives so we can begin shaping a plan that feels right for you.

We’ll also talk about what therapy looks like with me — the approaches I use, how sessions typically flow, and what you can expect as we move forward. You’re welcome to ask questions, express concerns, or share anything that will help you feel more comfortable.

My goal in the first session is not to dive into deep work immediately, but to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. By the end, you should have a sense of my style, how we might work together, and whether this feels like a good fit for your needs. From there, we’ll collaborate on next steps and begin shaping a path toward healing and meaningful change.
