Great to meet you!

I work with a diverse range of individuals, with a particular focus on men and women of color. With over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about helping clients who are facing emotional challenges, whether it’s managing relationship dynamics, career changes, or adjusting to new phases of life. I also work with clients dealing with emotional eating, helping them break the cycle of unhealthy relationships with food. Pre-bariatric surgery evaluations are offered as well.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrated approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Solution Focused techniques to help you understand and shift negative patterns. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences. I strive to understand the impact of both personal and societal factors on mental health, particularly in the context of race, gender, and identity.

What you can expect from me

I am deeply committed to empowering my clients to achieve meaningful and lasting change. My goal is not only to help you identify and work through challenges but also to encourage personal growth, resilience, and self-advocacy. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where the client is the expert in their own life, and together we create a plan that leads to empowerment, healing, and fulfillment. Times listed on my calendar are for consult calls only; evening appointments are available by request.
