Great to meet you!

If you are the person everyone else leans on, and you have quietly run out of anywhere to put your own stuff, that is who I work with. I see women, teenagers, and the parents raising them. I spend my days as a school counselor, so I have sat with a lot of kids on their worst day and a lot of parents who did not know what to do next. Nothing you bring me is going to be new. I am also bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I work with empathy, authenticity, and accountability. That last one matters. I am not going to nod along for a year while nothing changes. We will name the patterns, and then we will do something about them. I also laugh in session, often, because most of what people carry gets lighter when it is allowed to be a little absurd. Sessions are telehealth, which means you never have to walk into a building wondering who might see you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is yours to fill. I will ask what brought you here now and what you want to be different, and then I will mostly listen. If you cry, fine. If you have no idea where to start, also fine, I will ask questions until we find the thread. You will leave with a sense of what we are working on and whether I am the right person to work on it with.
