Great to meet you!

Coming back to therapy work after having my second baby wasn't just a career decision. It was about figuring out how to build something that actually fits my life. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, and I do this work because I genuinely love it. Not the billing paperwork or the commute. The actual work of sitting with someone and helping them untangle something they've been carrying for too long. My background spans community mental health, working with adults managing substance use and recovery, and private practice. Each of those settings taught me something different about what people are actually dealing with when they finally decide to ask for help, and what real support looks like.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, and the particular exhaustion that comes from holding everything together for too long. I have a lot of empathy for the person who looks completely fine from the outside but is quietly running on empty.

My approach to therapy

The clients I tend to connect with best are people who are used to holding it together. They show up to work, take care of their families, and keep moving. But something underneath that isn't working anymore, and they know it. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress that has slowly built up over time. I have a particular interest in working with parents and people going through major life transitions, including postpartum adjustment, career changes, and figuring out what comes next when a chapter ends unexpectedly.

Sessions with me are direct and conversational. I'll ask the questions that actually matter, and I'll be honest when I notice patterns that seem worth exploring. I think the best therapy happens when we can both show up as real people.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just about getting to know each other. I want to hear what has been going on for you and what you are hoping to get out of this. You do not need to have it all figured out before we start. From there we work at a pace that makes sense for you. Some people come in with a specific goal. Others need space to figure out what the goal even is. Both are completely fine. I am now am accepting new clients. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
