Great to meet you!

When connection breaks - within ourselves, our relationships, or our families - repair is possible. I help individuals, couples, and families understand the deeper patterns affecting trust, intimacy, behavior, and emotional connection.

My work focuses on betrayal trauma, infidelity, problematic sexual behaviors and pornography use, substance use and recovery, PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship wounds, and high-conflict relational dynamics. I also support partners and family members who have been affected by addiction, secrecy, betrayal, or repeated disconnection.

My style is compassionate, grounded, and direct. Together, we look beyond the surface problem to understand how the nervous system, attachment, shame, avoidance, and past experiences may be shaping what is happening now. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and other trauma-informed and relational approaches.

Therapy is not about assigning blame or reducing you to a diagnosis. It is about understanding the pattern, building emotional regulation, strengthening accountability, and developing practical tools for healthier communication, trust, and connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and direct. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely understood and supported as you look honestly at patterns that may no longer serve you.

My work is brain-based, trauma-informed, and relational. We will explore how your nervous system, attachment experiences, past wounds, shame, and protective responses may be influencing your current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we work to understand what keeps the pattern repeating and what will help interrupt it.

I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and relational approaches based on your individual needs. Our work may include strengthening emotional regulation, challenging unhelpful beliefs, improving communication, establishing boundaries, building accountability, and practicing repair.

I will meet you with warmth and without judgment, while also helping you face difficult truths with clarity and self-compassion. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater insight and practical tools you can use outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, honest, and nonjudgmental conversation about what brought you to therapy and what you hope will change. You do not need to have everything figured out or tell your entire story at once. I will ask thoughtful questions about your current concerns, important experiences, relationships, strengths, and the patterns you may be noticing.

Together, we will begin identifying what may be happening beneath the immediate problem—including nervous-system responses, relational cycles, past wounds, or protective behaviors that keep repeating. We will discuss your goals and begin shaping a treatment plan that feels relevant and realistic.

My priority is for you to feel heard, respected, and never reduced to a diagnosis. By the end of the session, I want you to have a clearer understanding of how we might work together, what your next steps may be, and whether I feel like the right therapeutic fit for you.
