Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, and I strive to make the process welcoming, supportive, and comfortable. I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My professional background includes providing individual and family therapy in both behavioral health and private practice settings.

Throughout my career, I have worked with adults and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship and family concerns, and significant life transitions. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

My goal is to help you process experiences from your past, manage present challenges, recognize your strengths, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling future.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person has a unique story and deserves care that is tailored to their individual needs. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and action-oriented. I integrate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches based on your needs and goals.

Therapy is a partnership. I will provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel heard and understood, and explore the experiences that may be keeping you from moving forward. I will support and encourage you while also gently challenging you when it can help promote growth and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently experiencing, and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that reflects your priorities and feels realistic and meaningful to you.

You can expect me to listen with compassion, offer honest feedback, and provide practical tools that you can use outside of therapy. I will regularly check in with you about how therapy is going so we can adjust our approach when needed. My goal is for you to feel supported, empowered, and actively involved throughout your healing journey.
