Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Janet! I am focused on supporting clients in healing as they become aware of their inner strengths. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma and suffer from addiction, anxiety, grief, and/or depression.

This is achieved by providing a safe space to listen without judgment. Then, utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), which include strategies for identifying and confronting negative thoughts, guided imagery, mindfulness, healthy communication, and positive self-image. These techniques have proven effective in managing a multitude of issues.

I excel in creating an environment where you feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings. I often have clients who have avoided therapy due to stigma or fear of judgment share how comfortable they feel in my sessions. This happens by providing a safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

My approach to therapy

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I listen without judgment and work with clients to decrease anxiety and increase life satisfaction.

What you can expect from me

I am told I am caring and compassionate, providing support without judgment. We identify areas of concern together and assign homework to support growth and self-awareness.
