Great to meet you!

I’m Janet Hardin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Temple University graduate who works with individuals. I specialize in anxiety and depression and bring extensive experience supporting people with substance use and family-related concerns. My path to social work was inspired by someone close to me who was involved in the Masons and took me along to bring food and treats to people in hospitals and people experiencing homelessness. After 20 years of hands-on work, I was able to pursue graduate school when a new school opened nearby.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on warmth, openness, and respect. I’ll listen to your perspective and work with you to understand what you’re experiencing. Together, we can identify goals and explore strategies that fit your needs and daily life.

What you can expect from me

I provide a choice for clients to decide where our work will start. I am client centered. We will sometimes laugh together. While I can be direct I will do no harm and be a great cheerleader or a quiet witness. We can do this...
