Great to meet you!

Life comes with challenges, but you don’t have to work through them alone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adolescents and adults, and I believe that having someone to sit with you in a safe space can make the heaviest burdens feel more manageable. I’d love to help you work through experiences you’ve been carrying, even for years.

I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, which gave me experience supporting people with severe mental health needs as well as continuity of care over time. I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, and suicidal thoughts, and I’m passionate about raising mental health awareness in the South Asian community.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate positive psychology, ACT, DBT, attachment-based therapy to fit your needs, whether that’s building coping skills, understanding relationship patterns, or processing painful experiences. I believe we become strong by being vulnerable, and I’ll walk alongside you at your pace.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. I’ll ask what brought you in, what you’re hoping to change, and a bit about your background and current support. Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, since there’s no pressure to cover everything at once.

We’ll also talk about goals, how often to meet, and which approaches might help, so you leave with a clear sense of how I work and what comes next. You’re always welcome to ask me anything.
