Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Janet. I believe we hold the power and intuition to change our lives and live more joyfully. As Joseph Campbell said, “We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.” Sometimes we just need some guidance to move forward. If you are struggling to feel better about yourself and life or to heal from past experiences, you are not alone. I would like to offer my knowledge and empathic therapeutic style to empower and support you in your journey towards more peace, understanding, and healing.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I support those seeking to make sense of childhood experiences, family generational patterns, loss, and life events. My practice is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, Somatic Therapy, IFS, Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment Theory. It is especially important to me to provide culturally responsive care. I strive to appreciate each client’s identities, their personal and generational histories, and utilize this information to tailor my approach.

What you can expect from me

After a consultation call to ensure we're a good match, we will schedule our first appointment. During this initial appointment, I will ask you questions to better understand the unique challenges you are experiencing and how they are impacting your daily life. Our primary focus will be on building our relationship
