Great to meet you!

When trust has been damaged, it can be hard to know where to begin—or whether repair is even possible.

Your relationship has been impacted by a rupture in trust—such as betrayal, emotional disconnection, or repeated hurts—and you’re unsure how to move forward. You may feel stuck in cycles of conflict, withdrawal, or uncertainty about whether repair is possible. Both of you may still care deeply, but conversations feel tense, guarded, or unproductive. You want clarity, safety, and a way to understand what broke so you can decide what comes next.

I specialize in working with couples navigating trust injuries and relationship ruptures. My approach is structured, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based couples therapy. Together, we slow things down, rebuild emotional safety, increase understanding, and create a clear path toward repair, reconnection, or clarity about next steps.

Seeking help after trust has been damaged can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. You don’t have to have all the answers before starting therapy. If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or afraid of making things worse, couples counseling can offer support, guidance, and a steady place to begin having these difficult conversations.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based couples work. When trust has been damaged, I help couples slow things down, create emotional safety, and understand what happened beneath the surface. From there, we work toward repair, reconnection, or clarity about next steps—at a pace that feels manageable for both partners.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we focus on slowing things down and creating a safe, supportive space for both partners. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what feels most difficult right now, and what each of you needs to feel steadier. The goal is understanding and stabilization—not blame or forcing decisions. To support transparency and trust in the process, therapy is approached with openness, and information relevant to the relationship is held within the couples work.

If you are starting couples therapy as an individual partner, your role is not to convince or defend—but to better understand your experience and your partner’s. Individual perspectives are welcomed and respected, while the focus remains on the relationship itself. The work emphasizes honesty, shared understanding, and building safety for both partners as the process unfolds.
