Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are used to handling a lot on their own and are currently looking for support. I’m a California licensed clinical psychologist (Psy.D., CSPP Alliant International University – San Diego) with experience in hospitals, medical settings, and community care. I work with adults who are managing the responsibilities of everyday life but feel overwhelmed, anxious or feeling downcast , disconnected, or going through a difficult transition.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and stress-related concerns. My approach is both practical and thoughtful—I help you understand what’s going on while also giving you tools to start feeling better in your day-to-day life.

I am currently working in with people who are used to handling a lot on their own and are ready for support that is focused, honest, and meaningful. I also hold space for the importance of meaning, values, and faith in people’s lives.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and grounded. I create a space where you can be open and feel understood, while also helping you stay focused and move forward.

I use a combination of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), insight-oriented work, and mind-body awareness. Sessions are collaborative and intentional—we’re not just talking, we’re working toward helping you feel more clear, steady, and like yourself again.

I don’t overcomplicate things, but I also don’t stay on the surface. You can expect honest feedback, practical tools, and conversations that are meaningful and productive.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to understand what’s bringing you in and begin identifying what you want to work on.

We’ll talk through what you’ve been experiencing, what’s been most difficult, and what you would like to feel different. I’ll help guide the conversation so it feels both comfortable and focused.

By the end of the session, most clients leave feeling:

  • Heard and understood
  • More clear on what they need
  • Reassured that change is possible
  • Comfortable with the direction of therapy

You don’t need to have everything figured out—many people start therapy simply wanting to feel better. This is a place to start there and move forward.
