Great to meet you!

I’m a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive therapist who believes healing involves more than understanding our experiences intellectually. My work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing and integrates parts work, attachment, and mindfulness. I pay attention to how stress, trauma, relationships, culture, family, and identity shape both the mind and body. I value curiosity, authenticity, and moving at a pace that allows us to notice what is happening without forcing the process. Together, we work toward greater capacity, choice, connection, and a deeper sense of presence in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is somatic, relational, and culturally responsive. I primarily use Somatic Experiencing (SE), while integrating parts work, attachment, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or insight, we also pay attention to what is happening in the body—sensations, emotions, impulses, movement, and nervous system patterns.

We work at a pace that feels manageable, building capacity to stay present with difficult experiences without becoming overwhelmed. Together, we explore patterns that may have once helped you survive but may no longer serve you, while strengthening resources, choice, connection, and a greater sense of safety and aliveness in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space for us to slow down and get to know what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been navigating, and what you hope will feel different. We’ll explore your history, current stressors, relationships, strengths, and how stress may be showing up emotionally and in your body. I’ll also introduce you to my somatic approach, which means we may gently notice nervous system patterns alongside your thoughts and emotions. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that supports safety, trust, and connection while beginning to identify what may be most helpful for you.
