Great to meet you!

I work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, stress, cultural or ethnic concerns, family challenges, and relationship issues. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating conflict, or moving through a difficult season, therapy can offer space to better understand what you're carrying and what you need. My goal is to help you feel supported while we focus on the concerns that matter most to you.

For clients who want it, I also incorporate faith-based counseling in a way that respects your beliefs and values. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they move toward healing and growth. If you're ready to begin, I invite you to reach out and take the next step.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a partnership. My role is to provide guidance, tools, and perspective, while creating a space where you feel safe to be honest and fully yourself. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundation, I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and respond to life’s stressors with greater clarity and confidence.

My style is direct, yet light-hearted. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical — it can be honest, engaging, and even enjoyable at times. While we’ll address the hard things, we’ll also create moments of ease and connection along the way.

I value the unique cultural backgrounds, personal experiences, and belief systems that shape each person’s story. I encourage you to bring yourself fully to each session — your thoughts, feelings, questions, and even doubts — so we can work together authentically and meaningfully.

What you can expect from me

The first couple of sessions are about getting to know each other, exploring what brought you to counseling, and clarifying your goals. You’ll have space to share openly, ask questions, and start getting comfortable with the process. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together, some practical strategies to try, and the confidence that this is a safe, supportive space for your growth.
