Great to meet you!

I believe people's lives can be changed when they feel seen, heard, and cared for. When this happens, they discover their strengths and feel worthy of prioritizing themselves and their mental health. My social work career has adhered to this philosophy in various areas of the field for many years. I am now more strictly focused on one-on-one counseling. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and distinct desires for how they want their life to change. I am here to partner with you in discovering the path you wish to take. I believe that everyone possesses strengths that can be difficult to recognize, especially during times of trauma. I am here to help you find them. Making your mental health a priority shows a strength you may not have recognized. Congratulations on your first step.

What you can expect from me

We will begin with an introductory session where you can share your story and your hopes for therapy. My goal is to provide you with a safe space where you can find empathy, receive a listening ear, and have a supportive teammate to help you identify your goals and the steps needed to achieve them. If you feel comfortable with our rapport, we can continue our sessions and work together to achieve the goals you identified.
