I have over 20 years of experience. My specialities include intensive one on one therapy, trauma and family and marriage counseling. I work with adults and couples. I am a Clinical Social Work Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I address addiction, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, sleep, sports, and weight loss management. I teach coping skills, communication skills, healthy relationships, positive mindset & help motivate clients to make change. I have a certification in PTSD and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. I use CBT to assist clients in meeting their needs and goals.

I also offer supervision to LMSW's attempting to obtain their LCSW's. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy can be shaped by what the client is in need of to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Solution-Focused therapy. Considerations for the approach include goals, comfort and compatibility.

What you can expect from me

In the first session my client can expect a warm welcome and establishing a rapport. We usually discuss goals and concerns and identify an issues, as well as background information. In addition, we can discuss treatment approaches, confidentiality, and logistics. In closing the session feedback opportunities and questions. Please bring to the session any questions and / or goals.
