Great to meet you!

My background is in behavioral health and crisis services, where I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health, substance use, and life challenges. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use and recovery, life transitions, and barriers to stability. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) in Clinical Practice and bring both clinical knowledge and real-world behavioral health experience into my work. Most importantly, I want my clients to feel respected, understood, and comfortable being themselves in therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, straightforward, collaborative, and grounded in meeting clients where they are. I use person-centered and strengths-based practices while incorporating CBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and solution-focused interventions based on each client's individual needs. I help clients understand patterns, build practical coping skills, and set realistic goals that make sense for their lives. I recognize that progress is not always linear, and therapy should support growth without judgment or unrealistic expectations.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy, what is currently affecting you, and what you hope to gain from treatment. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or know exactly what your goals should be. Together, we will identify your strengths, concerns, and priorities and begin developing realistic goals for therapy. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, comfortable, and clear about how we can move forward together.
