Great to meet you!

Daily life can feel overwhelming, especially during times of transition or uncertainty. I work with adults to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life changes by introducing practical skills and new ways of understanding life experience.

I strive to create a warm, open, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak freely and feel genuinely heard, accepted, and valued. My goal is to help you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful change.

I am a Colorado Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice, with a focus in adult and older adult mental health. Previously, I worked with and supported veterans and their families at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) at Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in Sociology from Georgetown University. My education and training also include mediation for relationship and family issues, as well as Clinical Pastoral Education, which informs my holistic and compassionate approach to care.

If you are looking for support and a space to begin working through life’s challenges, I invite you to reach out. We can take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Client-centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-focused Therapy with mindfulness and reflective writing as supportive modalities. Evidence shows that how we think shapes how we feel, and further, how we live, and through the therapeutic alliance, we can work to shift unhelpful patterns, support greater balance, build resilience, and develop practical tools for everyday life. We will call upon the personal strengths that have helped you navigate difficulties in the past and apply them to your current challenges – that’s the strengths-based perspective!

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive environment. I will invite you to share what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope might be different in your life. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before we begin—simply showing up is enough.

Together, we will explore your goals for therapy and discuss how the therapeutic process can support you in reaching them. I will answer any questions you may have and explain what you can expect as our work unfolds over time. My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, heard, and valued as we begin this journey together.
