Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 9 years of experience in the mental health field, and I’m also a Nationally Registered EMT. I’m passionate about helping individuals of all ages move forward, work through challenges, and heal so they can reach their goals in life. I specialize in trauma, depression, PTSD, anxiety, and working with individuals diagnosed with SMI.

I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling and am currently working toward my Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision. I previously worked at a community service board as a Prescreener, supporting a wide range of populations. That experience, combined with my education, allows me to provide thoughtful guidance and meaningful support to my clients. I use a variety of treatment approaches, including mindfulness, expressive therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and talk therapy.

My approach to therapy

Everyone faces challenges, changes, and hardships at different points in life. I’d like to walk alongside you and support you as you work toward healing, gaining new perspectives, building coping skills, and moving forward. If you’re ready to do the work, I encourage you to schedule an appointment with me.

“As an individual with a complicated history, I understand the importance of healing the person as a whole spirit, soul, and body at one’s own pace.”

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space in their first session. My goal is to walk beside you as you begin sharing your story, meeting you exactly where you are, while ensuring you feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. We will spend time getting to know what brings you in, exploring your goals at your pace, and identifying what feels most important to you right now. Together, we may begin to clarify initial goals such as increasing emotional awareness, strengthening coping strategies, or simply creating a safe space to process your experiences. Above all, the first session is about building trust and creating an environment where you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered in your journey forward.
