Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I’m Janna Chin, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide compassionate, integrative psychotherapy for adults seeking healing, emotional wellness, and meaningful personal growth. I have more than 10 years of experience.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, anxious, burned out, or unhappy in your relationships or life circumstances, healing is possible. Many people spend years quietly carrying emotional pain, anxiety, burnout, codependent relationship patterns, grief, or unresolved trauma while continuing to hold everything together on the outside.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe me as compassionate, caring, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should feel emotionally safe, collaborative, and empowering.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including EMDR and CBT, along with Internal Family Systems, Somatic therapy, mindfulness, and integrative psychotherapy approaches to support deeper emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and long-term emotional wellness.

I enjoy working with high-achieving adults who are committed to personal growth and willing to do the deeper emotional work that supports lasting change.

Many of my clients are professionals, healthcare workers, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and high-achieving adults who appear capable and successful on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or unresolved trauma. Over time, chronic stress and emotional exhaustion can impact your mental health, relationships, nervous system, self-esteem, and overall quality of life.

I work from a strengths-based perspective and help clients identify patterns, beliefs, emotional wounds, and coping strategies that may be preventing them from fully experiencing the relationships, peace, confidence, and fulfillment they desire.

One of the greatest and most heartwarming privileges of my work is supporting clients as they move from emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, and survival mode into greater clarity, confidence, emotional connection, and a deeper sense of peace within themselves and their relationships.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to begin exploring your experiences and identify the goals, patterns, and challenges you would like to address in therapy.

Together, we will discuss what has been contributing to your emotional distress, overwhelm, relationship challenges, anxiety, or feelings of being stuck. We will explore your personal history, current stressors, coping patterns, strengths, and goals for healing and growth.

I will also help you better understand how therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and integrative treatment approaches may support your specific needs and begin developing a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.

Most importantly, our first session is intended to provide a compassionate, supportive, and emotionally safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
