Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and the founder of Empower Journey Counseling. I work with children (12+), teens, adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, trauma, and life transitions. I offer bilingual therapy in English and Spanish and bring a culturally responsive, compassionate approach to care. Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel emotionally drained, stuck in patterns, or disconnected in their relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based practices to help individuals and couples understand emotional and relational patterns, improve communication, and build emotional regulation skills. I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard while also gaining practical tools they can apply in daily life. Therapy with me balances insight with action and moves at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on connection, understanding your concerns, and identifying goals. For individuals and couples, this is a supportive space to share what’s been feeling difficult without pressure or judgment. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan tailored to your needs so you leave feeling clearer, supported, and confident about next steps.
