Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with over 20 years of providing service to diverse individuals across 7 states. I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. I focus on empowering individuals to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve personal growth.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs, drawing from evidence-based methods. I specialize in areas such as anxiety, sexual issues, depression, life transitions, and relationship/family/couple challenges, always striving to support clients in living more authentic and fulfilling lives. I work with children adolescents and adults. The most common theoretical approaches I use include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help clients understand and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, Mindfulness-Based Approaches: To build present-moment awareness and manage stress effectively, Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring a sensitive and supportive environment for clients with past trauma, Humanistic Therapy: To emphasize self-acceptance, personal growth, and finding meaning in life, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): To identify practical steps toward achieving immediate goals.

What you can expect from our first session

My goals for you

I approach goal setting collaboratively, ensuring that the process aligns with each client’s unique needs, values, and readiness for change. During our initial sessions, we explore what the client hopes to achieve in therapy, breaking down broader aspirations into clear, actionable, and realistic goals.

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we focus on building trust and rapport. We’ll start by discussing what brought them to therapy, their goals, and any concerns they’d like to address. I’ll also ask about their personal history, experiences, and current challenges to gain a better understanding of their unique situation. This session is an opportunity for clients to share at their own pace—there’s no pressure to disclose more than they feel comfortable with. I’ll explain my approach to therapy, answer any questions, and collaboratively outline a plan for how we can work together moving forward. The first session is all about creating a foundation for a positive and productive therapeutic relationship.
