Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and former first responder, which gives me a strong understanding of trauma from both professional and real-world experience. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with significant or long-term trauma, including first responders. Many of my clients struggle with intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, irritability, reckless behaviors, or a persistent negative emotional state. I work well with people who feel stuck or even “broken” from what they’ve experienced. My approach is direct, honest, and compassionate, with a focus on helping you regain control without losing your edge.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, structured, and focused on results. We will work to understand why your thoughts, behaviors, and reactions exist and how they developed. I use proven, evidence-based methods to help reduce symptoms and create real change. This is not passive therapy—we will set clear goals and take actionable steps each session. My focus is helping you improve your mental health while maintaining performance in your personal and professional life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will have a structured but comfortable conversation focused on your story and current challenges. I will work to understand what is going on and what you want to change. We will begin identifying patterns in your thoughts, behaviors, and emotional responses. Together, we will start building clear and achievable treatment goals. You will leave with direction, a practical takeaway, and a sense of momentum moving forward.
