Hello! I am an LPC in the Charlottesville area, with 8 plus years experience working with at-risk youth and and their families. I have experience working with kids, teenagers, and adults with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, and family-related issues, specializing in treatment for anxiety and OCD. I have a desire to see individuals gain control of their struggles through evidenced-based practices, empowerment, and spiritual care.
I am client-centered, and utilize faith-based principles in sessions, with evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Exposure-Response Therapy, with a specialized certification in treating anxiety and OCD. However, I also believe there is not one approach that fits every client, and meet each client where they are in each session.
I strive to create a warm, open, and compassionate environment, working to build a trusting rapport with each and every client. I work with each client individually to determine what they want to personally work towards to achieve balance, growth, and change in their lives.
