Great to meet you!

If your internal world feels chaotic, fractured, or heavy, finding a place to land can feel impossible. Maybe you are carrying the weight of complex trauma, navigating a world not built for your neurodivergent brain, or feeling completely disconnected from your own body.

You might feel hesitant to trust a male therapist with your story—especially if your past includes relational trauma, spiritual abuse, or high-control environments. I completely understand. At Quiet Harbor Counseling, safety isn’t something I preach; it is something we build together through steady, respectful, and non-judgmental action.

As a lead therapist with clinical director responsibilities within intensive treatment settings, my days are spent managing complex clinical care. In my private practice, I bring that exact high-level expertise, administrative precision, and deep trauma training directly to you. I specialize in providing a dedicated, affirming refuge where you can feel entirely seen, heard, and empowered to live a self-reliant life.

My approach to therapy

We won't just talk at your problems. We will use deeply targeted, evidence-based tools to heal them at the root. My approach integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ETT (Emotional Transformation Therapy) Level 1, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ego State therapy.

If you experience severe dissociation or Dissociation Identity Disorder (DID), we work collaboratively on internal parts work. Rather than trying to force parts away, we revisit past, wounded states and encourage you to become the source of empowerment and healing your vulnerable parts needed back then. Together, we safely untangle the past, process difficult relationship dynamics, and build an integrated, fulfilling future.

Who I Serve Best

  • Complex & Sexual Trauma: Deep healing for individuals processing severe relational trauma, sexual trauma, and sexual addictions.
  • Women & LGBTQ+ Safe Space: Providing a genuinely safe, restorative corrective experience for women with a history of difficulty trusting men, as well as a highly affirming space for the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Neurodivergent Adults (ADHD/Autism): Therapy designed for your unique brain, allowing you to unmask completely without needing to "educate" your therapist.
  • Dissociation & DID: Experienced care for internal part integration, severe trauma processing, and navigating intricate internal worlds.
  • Religious Trauma & Cult Recovery: Specialized support for navigating the complex layers of spiritual abuse, systemic betrayal, and reclaiming your personal autonomy.

What you can expect from me

Walking into a first therapy session can feel incredibly intimidating, especially when you are carrying complex stories or pieces of yourself that feel fractured. In our first session together, your only job is to arrive exactly as you are. There is no interrogation, and there is absolutely no pressure to bare your soul or retell your entire trauma history on day one. Instead, our focus is entirely on building immediate, tangible safety. For my neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, this means you can completely drop the mask at the door—there are no hoops to jump through or expectations to meet here. Together, we will gently map out what has been feeling heavy, explore how tools like EMDR and parts work can support your healing, and establish a clear, predictable roadmap for our time together. You will leave our first hour not feeling overwhelmed, but feeling genuinely seen, grounded, and confident that you have finally found a safe harbor.
