Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, experienced therapist with a strong background working with adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of clinical and life challenges. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University (CACREP-accredited) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both earned cum laude. Earlier in my career I was also a Registered Nurse, which continues to shape my holistic, mind-body approach to care.

Professionally, I have worked in outpatient therapy, family-based services, crisis intervention, juvenile justice, and psychological services. I currently serve as a Psychological Services Specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, where I conduct psychological assessments, functional behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and group programming. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals and families facing trauma, stress, family conflict, OCD, ADHD, anger and impulse control issues, substance use, grief, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, CBT, positive psychology, Gestalt therapy, attachment-based therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused CBT, behavioral modification, and ecosystemic structural family therapy. In practice, this means we will explore not only what is happening now, but why it is happening, how your past and relationships influence the present, and how to build concrete tools for lasting change.

Clients often describe my style as affirming, empowering, direct, open-minded, and solutions-focused. I believe therapy should be both insightful and practical, and I strive to create a safe, respectful space where growth feels possible.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will focus on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll review what’s been most difficult for you, identify your strengths, and begin building a clear plan for treatment. You can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and guided toward meaningful, achievable change.
