Great to meet you!

I'm a somatic-depth oriented therapist. I believe in tapping into our body-mind connection to bring about healing, and more vibrancy and authenticity to our lives. I often work close to symptoms to learn from them and integrate their lessons. I love all forms of artistic expression and the occasional nap. I've lived internationally and have a strong belief in intersectionality and the systems we inhabit.

My approach to therapy

I seek to create a warm space where we can attune to your experience and gather an appreciation for the challenges you face and the strength you may have buried. I encourage reflecting on the living relationships that come alive in and out of the room. We may learn how we put walls up and why, and how we might build toward greater wholeness - when to soften and connect, and when to assert boundaries. We sometimes look at Dreams to get a precise sense of what "Psyche" is working on below the surface, and look at patterns and symbols that emerge over time to gather an understanding for your inner mythical story. I invite clients to get a sense of their Window of tolerance and bring themselves back quicker when they are in anxiety or dissociated states. We will learn how to better confront our fears and embrace the meaning and resiliency of our symptoms.

What you can expect from me

Client can expect a warm presence and an open mind. I want to get a sense of how you navigate the world. I will likely ask questions about your relationships to self and others, challenges that have brought you here, and collaborate on goals toward healing. I know that starting with a new person can be daunting, but I am patient, and listen deeply.
