Great to meet you!

Many people reach out when something in their life or relationship feels just slightly off — a disconnection that has grown over time, a repeating tension, or an anxiety that quietly shapes how they move through the world. I specialize in helping individuals and couples slow down these heavy patterns to find a clearer path forward. Whether you are caring deeply for a partner but feeling misunderstood or you are an individual navigating the burnout of life transitions, my goal is to help you explore what is getting in the way of your fullest potential. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by providing a warm, nonjudgmental space where they can finally be heard.

I believe that you are the ultimate expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as we navigate the cycles that keep you feeling stuck. Based in Coronado, I work with a diverse range of clients, including those from the Hispanic and Latino communities, and I am proud to offer therapy in both English and Spanish. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have found a safe space to process their experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and collaborative, utilizing structured, evidence-based methods to help you rebuild trust and strengthen communication. I pull from specialized training in the Gottman Method for couples, as well as tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for individuals. I hope that my clients will be able to positively grow while working together by learning dynamic coping skills that they can apply immediately to their daily lives.

We focus on the "why" behind the tension while prioritizing the "how" of moving forward. Whether we are addressing relationship stress, self-esteem, or anxiety, our sessions are designed to build emotional regulation and confidence. Clients should expect to feel heard and supported throughout our time together as we identify the goals that lead to more meaningful connections and a more peaceful mind.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a low-pressure opportunity for us to connect and for me to understand the unique story you bring into the room. We will spend time discussing what has been feeling unmanageable and what your vision for healing looks like, ensuring the process feels safe and clear from the start. My priority is to meet you exactly where you are, without any expectation that you have everything figured out yet.

We will talk through the therapeutic process and begin to outline a roadmap tailored to your specific needs. By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you feel a sense of relief and a clearer understanding of how we will work together to restore balance in your life or relationship. You can expect a session that is welcoming, compassionate, and entirely focused on your growth.
