Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adults and provides integrated mental health care that combines psychotherapy and medication management. My work is solution-oriented, empowering, and open-minded, with a focus on helping clients move beyond symptom management and toward meaningful, lasting change.

My style is warm, grounded, and direct. I value collaboration and curiosity, and I approach care as a partnership rather than something that is done to you. I aim to support clients while also encouraging them to take an active role in understanding their patterns, building resilience, and reclaiming their mental and emotional health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I integrate supportive therapy, CBT-informed strategies, and EMDR-informed care in a way that is practical and focused on real-life application. I emphasize education, skill-building, and insight paired with action so clients can make informed, empowered choices about their care.

When medication is part of treatment, I use it thoughtfully and conservatively as one tool within a broader, individualized plan. I also take an open-minded approach to understanding how stress, lifestyle factors, relationships, and nervous system regulation contribute to mental health. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I work with clients to identify underlying patterns and realistic steps that support long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding you as a whole person and clarifying what you want to change or improve. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant history, what has and hasn’t helped in the past, and what you hope life could look like with the right support.

Clients can expect an active, collaborative conversation. I will ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, and help identify patterns that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms. By the end of the session, we will begin outlining clear next steps so you leave with direction, options, and a sense of momentum rather than just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.
