Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, grounded, and personalized mental health care. My approach is shaped by eight years of experience as an ICU nurse, where I supported patients and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. That experience taught me that meaningful healing requires more than clinical expertise—it requires empathy, steady support, and truly listening to each person’s story.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences and feel genuinely heard. My style is warm, collaborative, and holistic, combining evidence-based treatment with authentic human connection. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to guide, support, and empower you to take an active and confident role in your mental wellness.

I offer both medication management and therapeutic support in an integrated, one-provider approach that promotes consistency and personalized care. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with veterans, first responders, and individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges.

Whether you’re navigating a current life stressor or managing ongoing concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or sleep difficulties, my goal is to help you build resilience, restore balance, and improve your quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, trust, and genuine collaboration. I believe healing begins when you feel safe, understood, and respected, so I focus on creating a welcoming environment where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.

My background in ICU nursing deeply shaped how I practice today. Supporting individuals and families during critical moments taught me to listen with empathy, respond with calmness, and treat the whole person—not just symptoms or diagnoses.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring this grounded, human-centered approach to every session. We work as partners in your care, developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals, strengths, and experiences. I integrate evidence-based practices with practical strategies to help individuals—including veterans and first responders—manage concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

My goal is to help you achieve lasting stability, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and hope.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I create a calm, welcoming space where you can share your concerns openly at your own pace. I understand that starting mental health care can feel vulnerable, so I approach our first meeting with patience, curiosity, and respect for your unique experience.

We will discuss what brings you in, your current challenges, your history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I focus on understanding not only your symptoms but also your overall life experience so we can see the full picture together.

By the end of the session, you can expect a clearer understanding of your diagnosis and a personalized, collaborative treatment plan, which may include medication management, therapeutic support, or both. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, reassured, and confident that you have a dedicated partner in your mental health journey.
