Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I bring a compassionate and understanding approach to mental health care. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings, including pediatrics, family medicine, cardiology, correctional health, emergency medicine, and education.

I believe that meaningful care starts with truly meeting patients where they are. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to be your authentic self. Together, we work toward practical, personalized solutions that support your mental and emotional well-being.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, visiting amusement parks, going on cruises, or spending quiet time at home with my husband and our two dogs.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective care starts with truly listening. My approach is centered on meeting you where you are—without judgment—and building a supportive, trusting relationship. I understand that everyone’s journey is different, so I focus on creating individualized plans that fit your needs, your lifestyle, and your goals. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to become the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We will spend time getting to know you—your concerns, history, goals, and what brought you in for care.

I will ask questions to better understand your mental health, medical background, and overall well-being, but there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward.

By the end of the visit, we will begin developing a personalized plan that may include treatment options, coping strategies, and next steps tailored to your needs.
