As a trauma therapist for the past ten years, I know that anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences can be overwhelming and confusing. It is my goal to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging space to so that you can explore what is impacting your mental, physical, and social well being. Not only to understand how you are impacted but help empower you to move through difficult and trying things and move toward well being and growth.

Every client is different because every client is an individual human being with unique experiences. My approach is client centered in that I endeavor to create a space of safety and trust where you have support, encouragement, and resources in your healing journey. One of those resources is EMDR in processing past and childhood traumatic experiences that may be impacting everyday living and relationships.

Our first session is such an important session because it is where we get to know each other and begin building a healthy therapeutic relationship of safety and trust. Together we set goals and priorities. During therapy sometimes my role is a listening ear, sometimes it is encouragement through challenging nudges, sometimes it is processing difficult experiences, and sometimes it is practicing. But always it is geared toward empowering you and your healing journey of growth.
