Great to meet you!

Originally from New York, I grew up in the suburbs of Long Island before moving to Brooklyn and Queens after high school. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz and initially pursued a professional career in art and music. Eventually, I relocated to Los Angeles, where I started a family and earned my master’s degree in counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

With experience in private practice, community-based clinics, and residential and IOP/PHP settings, I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families. I support adolescents, young adults, and adults across all life stages, addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, ASD, BPD, complex trauma, addiction, identity struggles, existential crises, and family or social dynamics.

I have helped young adults navigate transitions into parenthood, college, and the workforce, as well as professionals in business, the arts, medicine, and law. I also work with couples facing relationship challenges, parenting concerns, and marital conflicts. My integrative approach is tailored to each client’s unique journey, blending evidence-based techniques with deep empathy and insight.

Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, relationship dynamics, or life transitions, I provide a collaborative, compassionate space to explore and heal.

My approach to therapy

I meet clients where they are, recognizing that everyone is at a different stage in their journey of self-exploration. Some seek structured guidance with skills and assignments, while others need space to process past traumas and current stressors—I tailor my approach to what feels right for each individual.

Authenticity and honesty are at the core of my work. My style is direct, humanistic, and deeply engaged—I don’t subscribe to the stereotypical emotionless therapist role. I believe that therapy should be a space where we can laugh as much as we cry, allowing for the full spectrum of emotions in a safe, supportive, and real environment.

My work is rooted in both the science of emotions and the mind-body connection, integrating somatic experiencing with evidence-based techniques. I welcome a diverse clientele and value working with individuals from all walks of life. Together, we explore how family of origin shapes present relationships while also identifying strengths and resources to foster growth in a way that is both empowering and realistic.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to walk away with a deeper understanding of themselves—why they think, feel, and act the way they do. Through our work together, I help clients set small, attainable goals that lay the foundation for more complex, long-term growth.

In the midst of life’s challenges, it’s easy to lose sight of our own strengths and inner resources. I strive to bring those to the surface, empowering clients to navigate their journeys with greater self-awareness and resilience. While the path of healing can be difficult, I offer a space of empathy, support, and insight—helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
