Therapy begins with the intention of creating a solid therapeutic relationship and journeys through moments of challenge and empowerment. As a trained Marriage and Family Therapist and Counselor Educator earning my Master's at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and my Ph.D. at the University of Texas at San Antonio, I believe that a yearning for knowledge is a cornerstone for growth. I approach therapy from a systemic and relational perspective.
I approach therapy from a systemic and relational perspective. All parts of a person should feel safe to be celebrated and explored in a therapeutic space, and I would be grateful to join you on this journey. I am trained in trauma-informed care and utilize an integrative treatment approach.
I believe that when working alongside clients I help to create opportunities for thoughtful analysis of how you show up in the world and if that is congruent with who you want to be. I believe that people leave with more compassion for themselves and others, while also being grounded in the tactics necessary to maintain healthy relationships to themselves and others.
