Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana (USI) and have been practicing for over 12 years. I have had the privilege to assist clients in multiple treatment settings such as outpatient clinical treatment centers, foster care programs, schools, hospice, incarcerated individuals and those battling substance use disorders. My areas of specialty include dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and substance abuse.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy meeting clients where they are in their change process but work to challenge thought patterns and misconceptions that may hinder them from reaching their goals. I enjoy finding humor and irony in life circumstances and creating a sense of resilience for challenges that they have already overcome. I typically use cognitive processing and reframing, EMDR, strength’s based and solution focused approaches, but can adapt other modalities based on the needs of the client.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy getting to know people and developing an understanding of underlying motivations for behaviors. I appreciate honest conversations about thinking patterns and behaviors that may hinder clients from reaching their goals. I aim to provide support and encouragement while clients challenge thoughts and practices through the change process.
