Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. With more than 20 years of experience in mental health, healthcare, education, and community settings, I've had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents, adults, and families through life's most challenging moments. I understand that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive environment where you can show up as your authentic self. My goal is to help you build on your strengths, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based. I recognize that every person's experiences, relationships, and culture shape how they move through the world, so I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, attachment-focused interventions, experiential techniques, and mindfulness-based strategies. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping tools, and foster meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. I'll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to achieve, and any questions or concerns you may have. We'll explore your current challenges, relevant life experiences, and the strengths you already possess, while working together to identify meaningful goals for therapy. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can partner in your journey toward healing and growth.
