Great to meet you!
As a therapist, I have an eclectic approach to healing and I tend to work best with people who are self-aware and ready to do meaningful work. I created Nafs Counseling, PLLC to create a safe, and affirming place for all people, with a special consideration for minorities, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folx. The name ‘Nafs’ is inspired by the Arabic word for soul, but it can also be interpreted as the self, psyche, or ego. We all have the potential to be our most authentic selves, when we work through the layers of our self, our souls.
I offer non-judgemental, anti-oppressive, culturally competent therapy tailored to your needs and goals. My trauma informed, person centered approach meets you where you are... always! I am honored to be a part of your journey towards meaningful change so you can live with more authenticity, clarity, intention, and self-understanding.
As a South Asian female with deep community roots, I bring cultural sensitivity and lived experience to my practice. Whether you’re struggling with life transitions, self-esteem, relationship issues, or personal growth, I offer a laid back and supportive space where you can feel safe, seen, and empowered to heal.
